I have a intranet, linux conected directly to internet via adsl, acting as router and providing access to internet to the rest of machines...in the intranet most of the machines running windows XP.
Then...
the problem:
Windows Boinc client can establish connection only when I route the port 1043 (via iptables).
Question:
How can run multiple clients on multiple LAN terminals?..I can route the port only to one internal IP.
Adicionally I don't try, but with the port routed the linux client surely don't work.

Can you help me?...thnks

So far I know, you need the port 1043 only outbound. So you don't need to route it...

The core client listens on port 1043 for the manager to manage it. It doesn't use port 1043 otherwise.

The core client communicates with project servers only over port 80 (http)... and that's all outgoing TCP connections. You shouldn't need to do any special routing.

You only need port 1043 if you want to remotely connect the machines with for example rpc_gui or boincview.

If thats what you are trying, this is probably a limitation in your ADSL router.
Some Firmwares support specifying one internal and one external port number.
so 1043 is used inside the intranet for all connections, but outward you may specify different port number for different machines and set up boincview accordingly.
