I have a couple of somewhat old boxes running Solaris 2.7. SETI is to be the only BOINC project that tries to do work on my platform but even then it seems to fail, looping with:

====
2005-11-25 16:39:40 [SETI@home] Restarting result 24ja04aa.11699.27712.747154.152_2 using setiathome version 4.02
2005-11-25 16:39:41 [SETI@home] Result 24ja04aa.11699.27712.747154.152_2 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file
2005-11-25 16:39:41 [SETI@home] If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.
2005-11-25 16:39:41 [---] request_reschedule_cpus: process exited
2005-11-25 16:39:41 [---] schedule_cpus: must schedule

Any ideas?

Could be, that the gcc libs are missing on your system.

Thank you. They were on there but no in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
I just set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include /usr/local/lib in the run_client script and now it is working fine.

Thanks
