I'm using FreeBSD 6.0 for amd64 now.
I have installed boinc-client by ports, attahced to http://setiathome.berkeley.edu, and installed boinc-setiathome by ports.
But, it shows:
Deferring communication with project...
I have experienced the same problem when I was using FreeBSD 5.4 for amd64.
At that time, I reinstalled boinc-client and boinc-setiathome many times, and the problem was solved.
But this time, I can't solve the problem that way.
I think something is wrong with ports.

I installed ports/misc/compat5x, and now, setiathome is working!
It was very easy solution.
