Yes Ess99, it was an EAGLE ....

Oh, sorry, thought I read BEAGLE... ...o0(must find my glasses)

What is so weird about seeing a beagle? A beagle is a perfectly good totem animal. I suppose you think your spirit animal would be something like a tiger.

Someone I know managed to get hold of some Peyote a few years ago and tried to do a spirit quest. They couldn't go far as far as Vancouver so they had to do it in Battersea Park (It's quite a big park near the river Thames). They were there until about 2 in the morning before they saw their totem animal. I'm not going to tell you what it was but it was nothing as grand as an Eagle.

So Kajunfisher, I suggest you find out what your own totem is before you put other people's down.

I, so accustomed to "Cafes" and "coffee", found myself amoung the Clayoquot tribe , once i was in Vancouver Island . I had a shaman friend and i asked him if i could have some coffee. We were outdoor in a beautifull night of full moon. He told me:"we have better than coffee" and he proposed me Ayahuasea , it was delicious and then at midnight we ate a sort of mushroom they called magic or sacred mushrooms .

You should try DMT (very carefully), which is far stronger than Peyote or magic mushrooms. It apparently contains the three chemicals that are only released in the human brain upon death. But, having said that, DMT doesn't work for me, as, I guess, I'm usually in a psychotic state.
