Had an issue getting BOINC 5.2.2 running on an Intel platform (3.2GHz, WinXP SP2, 1 Gig mem) after a new installation. The Manager shows the local machine as "Disconnected" and any attempt to reconnect to 'localhost' fails with a password error. If the raw IP of localhost (i.e. not the loopback) is entered the client still returns a "Connection Error" message (and not the password error).
Does anyone have any ideas on getting operational at the new version?
