I'm using Debian KDE 3.3
I downloaded the newest client 5.2.4 and started the boinc and attached my project, but when i try to start boincmgr I get the following message "BOINC Manager - Connection error" "The password you have provided is incorrect, please try again."
I haven't entered any password, and don't know how to change/enter it.

Just make sure that your startup icon for the Manager sets the working directory. This effectively 'cd's into the dir before starting the program.
