Have not run seti in a while, I was running on solaris for the most part and sometimes on windows.

Found out I had to update to these new boinc style, did that but now when ever I try to get a unit started I get:

Invalid or missing account key, now I've tried both account number and th cross project number either are correct.

What gives here?

installed boninc on my xp pc.
login to my set account: see two numbers my account:401941
and a cross project id:c396d7bffd12d1623222fbcdf1cd6671

start boinc and choose attach to new project: in this acase using the seti url

From the messages I see it connect to the site, and return that the account is invalid;

shame you can't cut and past that, and then it detaches from the project, can't say about the soalris side I'm missing so libs. to get it going.

Well, your accout key should be similar to your cross project id.
Are you running a cli version or gui ?
If your running a gui version and chose to attach to a project it asks you for an url and your account key.
