I have started to use new Seti@home just week ago, but my computer has already processed, uploaded and reported several WU.
But still there is no credits either pending or credited in my account details or BOINC Client.
Is this just not active yet or does it takes this long??

It can take some time. 3 matching results must be returned before credit is given. If there is a problem with one of the copies sent it will be about 2 weeks before it is resent. Plus there have been problems on the server side making it slower than normal.

To get credits, your claimed credits must be compared to the claimed credits of 2 other PC's. As long there are no 2 other claimed credits for the same WU, credits cannot be granted. There is also a deadline of reporting of 14 days for each WU. In normal condition, credits are awarded between some 5 to 10 days, depending on the speed of processing of the 2 other PC's, but it can take up to 14 days at maximum.

ya it can take a while -- thats the only bad thing about boinc... it takes so long to get credit...

just be patient.
