I have been running SETI for years and am in the top 1% (account Fulton@twcny.rr.com). Some months ago I switched one of my Windows machines over to BOINC and found it to be buggy. I reloaded my classic version. Now I just setup a new ubuntu Linux system and can't find the classic version for it. I don't want to run BOINC on it as it won't reflect my total stats correctly. The ubuntu installer finds "setiathome_3.08-4_i386" but it can't log into the berkeley server. How can I get this to work?

Or, how can I get BOTH my classic and BOINC (if I can find a ubuntu Linux version) units to sync up and reflect in total. All my current SETI servers are on Windows running 3.08.

There have been some problems with the servers so you might try again. Make sure you are attaching to your existing account, no new accounts are being created for Seti Classic.

The Classic stats shown on your BOINC account are a snapshot taken in March when the system was down. They will be updated when Classic is closed but they cannot be combined with BOINC credits as they are apples and oranges.

Also you can get a sig like mine that shows both.

Good luck and thanks for the work,
