-108 errors from boinc/FC3

I did not install X11, in fact my best access is through ssh. Whenever I try to run boinc, either as a daemon or from the command line, the following gets in the logs: boinc.log: ... 2005-09-07 18:43:20 [SETI@home] Requesting 8640.00 seconds of work 2005-09-07 18:43:20 [SETI@home] make_scheduler_request: -108 2005-09-07 18:43:20 [SETI@home] scheduler init_op_project to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed, error -108 2005-09-07 18:43:20 [SETI@home] init_op_project failed, error -108 2005-09-07 18:43:20 [SETI@home] Deferring communication with project for 59 seconds (the time gets longer and longer) Is this a problem with the servers or is my config the problem?
