Can´t start any jobs

There are a couple of possible reasons. 2005-09-05 14:16:54|SETI@home|No work from project The first try (in blue), no specific reason is shown, and you didn't give the prior messages for any clues there. But when I looked at the Server Status page, there were only 69 results listed as Ready to Send. That number is always a snapshot, not exact to the second, and there may just have been no work available to send. The second try (in red) is because there's a built in mechanism to keep from pounding the server on retries: it sets a required wait period before you can ask again, and it asked a little too soon. The deferral two lines later would get you past that waiting time. And I presume that it worked, because your computer shows having downloaded a result shortly after you posted your question!
