I recently upgraded to BIONC V4.45 from V4.19. My preferences are set to automatically connect to the internet. With V4.19 it connected but now with V4.45 it does not. I have set BIONC to 'Run based on preferences'. Also, when I installed the new version I set it to run as a service. I am running XP SP2. Yes, I am using a modem. What am I doing wrong?

By the way, why on earth can't I connect to the Seti to upload my results or D/L new WU? It's like over a week now and all I get is temporary failed upload or download?

Question one... not a clue. I'll leave that to someone else.

But question two... never been in the Number Crunching forum or even on the front page of this project? Might be time to go take a look and see that Seti is just back from a week long outage.
