I have the latest version of boinc running on my system. I have made a kde start script so that when a user logs in, it runs the boinc core client

I have made an icon on my desktop to load the gui boinc manager but im not having much luck. The boinc manager does connect to the core client, but the graphics look strange and i cant see most of the text:

here is a screenshot it took, which is quite chunky in file size

Strange, maybe it tries to use a font, which isn't installed?
