I have one RH linux site where we're running boinc/seti on a production server that has a Progress database. After a few days of running boinc/seti, the Postgress engine would not restart - problems with semaphores. See /proc/sysvipc/sem.

Does the boinc/seti combo communicate using sysvipc semaphores? IF so, might there be a "leak"?

Would prefer to KNOW this wasn't the case.

Anyone read the code for dependencies lately?

Tnx..
