Hello everyone, I "install" a file boinc_4.43_i686-pc-linux-gnu.sh, and when I lunch BOINC/run_client -attach_project ... result this string :
Insufficient work; requesting more.
Wht means..??
To connecting to wan I use a router.

I also have this problem, it seems to hang when requesting for more work. I'm trying to fix the problem but if anyone could offer some assistance we would both appreciate it. I currently run Kubuntu Linux (not sure of the version at the moment).

Edit: While looking through old topics, I found the answer:
./boinc -attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu KEY

CD to your boinc directory and replace 'KEY' with your user key.

I am running Ubunu and i cant even get it to connecto to my compter to run. Anyone know what hostname to use, my netbios name is not it.

That actually helps!
1. cd to your boinc directory, probably /home/user/.boinc
2. /usr/bin/boinc --attach_project http://setiathome.berkeley.edu KEY
