How do I stop this Frankenstein? I set BOINC to run only when idle for at least 1 minute. But it runs ALL THE TIME! This slows down my other activity. DO I HAVE TO UNINSTALL? tOM ![]() |

As usual, it's my own blindness. I had the option (under File...?) set to run always, instead of run according to preferences. tOM ![]() |

As usual, it's my own blindness. I had the option (under File...?) set to run always, instead of run according to preferences. Thanks for that. That was the magic dust I was looking for too. For me with my Linux boincmgr program, it was under Commands > Run based on preferences. There appears to be a bug where the checkbox doesn't get selected in the menu, but it works nonetheless. I also had to click on the Update button in the Projects tab to suck down those preferences. |
