With SAH Classic, there was an option (I think) that allowed me to load the software as Windows started. Is there such a option with Boinc? I must admit for that matter I can't seem to find a simple method of changing the settings anywhere within the program. (Other than the connection settings.) And... For that matter... Where's the help file/link?? I would like to be able to change BOINC settings from within the software. As far as I can see it, I have to log onto the project's site (SAH in this instance) to change BOINCs global stuff. If the analysers are just downloadable plugins to the BOINC core, wouldn't it be just as easy to add a setup plugin that went with each analyser? mail your views to garethlock at yahoo dot com (I don't like spambots!!) |

There is an option at install time to run at startup. This puts a shortcut in the startup group. If you want to run as a service the command is boinc_cli -install. John Keck BOINCing since 2002/12/08 |

Thanks for that... Was a really dumb question. If I'd just looked at the startup folder in the start menu I'd have had my answer without all this!! ;-) > There is an option at install time to run at startup.
