I think he tried to use the fact that Vinokourov as well as Jan Ullrich ride for T-Mobile and are both favourites for winning the Tour. If Armstrong tried to catch him he would have had to ride very hard and spend a lot of energy on this. If he didn't, Vino comes closer and as well he as Jan may attack at will, just to see Armstrongs reaction. Having two strong opponents (provided Jan is strong and will not keep just hanging on Armstrongs rear wheel) might be a real challenge, when you have to keep both in check. btw also a very nice Stage, by the T-Mobile Team, they attack, but Lance is to strong Yes, Georg had a very nice race. He could barely walk afterwards. But Armstrong still ended up gaining over a minute on everyone. Ulrich really put in a great race as well. |

we have to look at tomorrow Agreed! Tomorrow will be a tough one! I'm wondering if Rasmussen was holding back a bit today to really hammer hard tomorrow. In my opinion, tomorrow will decide the race. If Lances team gets left behind as they did today, he will be in trouble. And like you said, if T-Mobile keeps attacking as they did today, it will be a very interesting race. :) Vino was riding pretty strong as well. (Why are his colors different than the rest of his team anyway?) |

Vino was riding pretty strong as well. (Why are his colors different than the rest of his team anyway?) I think, he's probably Khazak champion, and entitled to wear this colors. Gruesse vom Saenger For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki |

also at this Stage Amstrong and Basso are the best, it will be heard for Jan Ulrich to go to the 3 Place, about 3:00 Minutes to Rasmussen, also Jan Ulrich is very good to go to the time, at Stage 20 Greetings from Germany NRW Ulli ![]() |

I think Lance has it. With only one real stage left to race, (and a time trial, which he excels at...) he still has 2:46 on second place Ivan Basso. Barring an accident or mechanical failure, I believe he has already won. I'm guessing he will probably even add more time to the margin between him and second. Of the 19 stages so far, he has worn yellow on all but 4. That's pretty well dominating the race. |

And Lance wins! :) Ulrich had a great race. Basso held onto second, but was struggling. Rasmussen just had an awful time. :( |

Thought I mentioned Lance won yesterday... ;) Sure, it wasn't 'official', but since by tradition, no one can attack the race leader on the last day, he effectively won yesterday. :D |
