Hi, I recently installed BOINC on a dual-boot (really old) PC. When I run the program under linux, I get lines similar to the following Running CPU benchmarks. . . CPU benchmarks timed out, using default values Running CPU benchmarks. . . ie, the benchmarks just repeat forever. When I boot into windows, BOINC calculates the benchmarks in 1 or 2 minutes, then is ready to go. Why doesn't it work in Linux? Has anyone else had this problem? |

Maybe your old computer is too slow causing overflow in benchmark routine. Boinc run fine on my laptop running Mandrake 10.2. |
