heya, i have a few pcs setup running S@H, and they are all connected via a wireless LAN.. when on my main rig i want to check up on other pcs and how they are doing using the 'select computer' option under file, it wont let me connect to any of my pcs even though the details are correct.. is there something im missing? i have tried just the pcs name and pw, and ive tried / and then pw (this is windows xp pro btw), thanks for any help :)

Have you placed the "remote_hosts.cfg" file in each of the computers you want to connect to? This is a text file that contains the ip address of the computer you want to connect from.

i just did it then, but still not letting me connect :( i created a file called "remote_hosts" and renamed it to a file extension of cfg, and put it in the BOINC dir.. is that where it was supposed to go? thanks for the help btw :)

This file goes in the BOINC of every computer that you wish to control.
And then you have to restart BOINC on that machine.
