Why does the progress bar on the work page take 6 minutes to reach 50% and then 5 hours for the remaining 50%.
This doesn't seem to make much sense.
Please no technical explanations.
It is just that 50% done should show when the WU is half way through its processing "TIME"

It may mean that it has finished 50% of the tests and some tests take longer that others.

Test? :S . The progress bar say you have done 50% in 6 minutes it says the same for me, its the way it was programed, they have tryed to fix it but dont know how. There is no test only WU :D

Not sure, but while both my Athlon boxes do it, my P4 does not. It crunches at an even pace throughout the whole WU.

Are you certain that the P4 is not crunching a Predictor WU? These do crunch in a relatively straight forward manner. I see this on all of my machines.

That's about right. It has completed 50% of the processing loops, the thing is each loop takes longer to process than the previous one.

mine doesnt. takes 2 minutes to do the first 50% then 3 hours to complete
