What's up with the 2 different websites? http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/ and http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ One site downloads the version of software(3.08)and the other 3.20. Am I correct in assuming it is the setiathome 3.08 version of software that is being phased out? And that in the near future people will only be able to download the Boinc 3.20 version. |

Those are two DIFFERENT projects. The old SETI@Home used only the S@H client, latest version 3.08. (This is the project that will be shut down sometime in the relatively near future.) The new SETI@Home/BOINC uses a BOINC client (latest version 3.20), and an S@H client (latest version 3.08, but not necessarily the same as that from the other project: automatically downloaded by the BOINC client). |

That clears things up. |
