One of my clients is a: Microsoft Windows NT Workstation Edition, Service Pack 6a, (04.00.1381.00) Due to a power outage it shut-down unexpectedly. Since reboot, though the Boinc client is running fine (as far as I can tell), when I want to view the client window, I can't bring it into view unless I maximize it. I've tried Alt-Space/Move and even though the cursor shows to be in the middle of the screen, the client window area is still not visible, no title bar, menus, frame, nothing. Is there a way to reset where it's storing the window dimensions and placement? Thanks. |

Very probably one of the files became corrupt after the power outage. The best way to resolve the problem is to shut down the GUI, do not delete anything and overwrite the software. This should resolve the problem. Greetings from Belgium. |

You mean just reinstall the software (and not uninstall or delete what's already there)? |

Close do not uninstall, just install over top, that way you don't lose any processing. BOINC Alpha Tester BOINC Beta Tester |
