Ok, so I merged 2 of my computers, and was wondering how to unmerge them. |

You cannot unmerge. What do you mean you can't unmerge, that's just not acceptable, what if i uninstall the programs and re-install it? There has to be a way to un merge it |

You cann't unmerge them by using the website interface. If you merged by accident 2 identical hosts, they will be split once they contact the server again. You cannot unmerge. Ok, I gave the short answer to the question you asked ;) There is no un-merge option anywhere. The Work units and totals you have already merged will stay merged for ever. But, next time your systems contact the project, one of them will get a new record in the BOINC database, and begin to accumulate results and totals against the new record. What that computer did before is now part of the others' record. ![]() |
