..... I would bet we could even find you a FREE copy of the OS that will BOINC. Ohhhh wait you already ignored that offer once..

If you are thinking of the kind offer from NA, I'll say, as far as I know him, that that offer is long overdue!

And, long past expiration....

Misfit-
If you'd ever spent any time locked down you'd know that most prisoners consider themselves innocent

Carl, since I'm not a criminal why the *F* would I give a damn about your lockdown experiences? In fact why would any law abiding citizen? Prison is supposed to be PRISON. Not someplace where you can hang around, watch TV, and decorate your cell. Think how much inmates would complain if all they were given is a stone slab to sleep on and a single bowl of gruel a day to eat. I'll let Tom continue and tell us all stories about what kinds of hardcore criminals are in lockdown.

PZ, oh so now I'm supposed to play foreign nation policeman? Like I give a rats ass. There's too much crap within this own city to worry about what's going on with everyone everywhere. If you were REALLY so concerned as you SAY you are you'd put your money where your mouth is, move there, and try to make a difference. But maybe that yearly oil stipend you receive from your state government has made you a little soft and too comfortable where you are. Or is it the idea of being another American kidnapped and beheaded is just a little too unsettling for you. Small wonder?

Misfit didn't say I had prison experience (or that I even knew about it) . . . sheesh, you can't understand English either, Carl?

Tom sorry for the missunderstanding-

My meaning was in my prison experience.
Lawyers are the last to know what's going on-
Preferring instead to focus their energy
On legally sucking whatever they can from the system
And from those who find themselves incarcerated.

Law has so many avenues, I'm sure
And you may be doing real estate or car wrecks-
I did not mean to infer that you have any criminal experience
Or have ever been in a jailhouse...cc

Carl, we all have our personal antipathies and idiosyncrasies to something, and your vague innuendoes here might imply, that you don't like lawyers!

Now, Carl, please tell us about your experiences with lawyers, since you dislike them (and it seems to be any kind of lawyers!) so much! Because you, as the highly intelligent and cool, levelheaded person, you are, could never be under the misconception of stereotyping and lump them all together, could you??

I understand that others, who don't see things so differentiated, could be under the habit of stereotyping and see any middle-aged hippie-like persons, living in remote places as islands and states, as braindamaged from the THC, they have taken in in one form or the other, to be very naive and have lost grasp of reality, and to never have understood that time didn't stop in 1975! But you don't, do you??

Siran, the point here is not that paulie-poo does want to participate in the project here and crunch numbers in BOINC, not even in Classic, as the piddling numbers of WU's crunched there is only a shabby excuse for coming here!!!

The real reason for him to use this board has already been stated, both by myself and by others, so there's no reason to repeate that!

Paulie-poo couldn't give worth a damn about this project and he will never crunch one single WU in BOINC in his lifetime!! His (very slow BTW!) computer will be way too busy for his crusade, there won't be one single cobblestone left for any BOINC projects!

Again, as we have discussed before, this board function as a magnet for all kind of weird existences out there as we have seen so many times here before! A religious zealot, two insane brothers, a nazi, a representative from the KKK, and now a political zealot. What's next???

Carl, I'm sure Tom has prosecuted repeat offenders and had to call other inmates as witnesses. I'm sure Tom's heard all about it from them.

That's true, and I have also visited prisons, but obviously, no one treated me badly while I was there. But then, I wasn't an inmate.

Pentagon Condemns Publishing Saddam Photos
The US has launched an investigation into how the photos were leaked.

Saddam to sue over prison photos
Saddam Hussein plans to take legal action after a British newspaper published photos of him half-naked in his prison cell and doing his washing. The Sun newspaper said it would fight any legal action and said it planned to publish more photos on Saturday.

The Sun says this is an "extraordinary iconic news image".

President Hamid Karzai called on Saturday for control of U.S. military operations in Afghanistan.

"No operations inside Afghanistan should take place without the consultation of the Afghan government," the president said.
