Hi. I just moved off 4.19 to 4.27 as suggested in another thread. Linux Fedora btw. I have a Boinc process running which is parent to two clients (seti 4.02) both consuming mill time. BOINC Manager shows 2 WUs being processed on the work tab but only 1 WU has any CPU time or progress against it with all other WUs waiting. The ....state....xml file shows the system as a twin processor (its a P4 3.0 HT) as does the benchmark when you run that. Any ideas....I think I got 2 WUs running but not according to BOINC....it seems a little mixed up lol. Happy Easter all. ![]() |

Maybe you should edit your General Preferences -> Processor usage -> On multiprocessors, use at most xx (in your case 2) processors ![]() ![]() |

Interestingly having observed it on and off for 24 hours the second WU is running. It does show up after while in the BOINC manager and leaps to 20% or so and then carries on until it completes. After that a new WU is started but it does not show until it has done some 20% of the work. Its a bug for sure!. Thx for coming back - was worth a try. ![]() |
