I want to know why we cann't get more schedulers on line? I am on dial-up so I cann't wait for hours to get work. It seems like every time I try to get more work I get no scheduler responding. I assume that's as they are busy. So why not add to the schedulers. I hate to have to come back numerous times for a trickle of units. I am shure others feel the same. Your wasteing my time!!! Please fix this bottle neck!!!!!!

I am also on dialup, and had a hard time getting things set up. Go to your boinc general preferences area and change "Connect to network about every 0.1 days to every 1 days, and you will get 3 workunits a time.
This is because boinc can cache workunits whereas seti classic needed a 3rd party program to do that.
Put boinc in your path (mine is in /usr/local/bin) and make a link to /$HOME/$USER/.kde/Autostart and boinc will start when you boot up.
