When are the XML-stats updated? 1: What time 2: Frequency I'd like to tune my stat-program to these parameters. |

As of now it appears there is no set schedule. For the past few days I have seen them being updated at (I think) somewhere around 5 or 6 AM Central US time (UTC -5). Yesterday it happened sometime during the day and right now it happened at about 3:15 AM. All I can say is that they are usually updated once per day. The place to check for updates is http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/tables.xml right now it says 1089447245 This is a UNIX time stamp indicating the exact time of the last update. Once I get my stats website (See my profile URL) up and running to where it can update itself without manual intervention, I plan on making a script that will check the above xml file every few hours and automatically initiate an update whenever berkeley updates their files. I know... I need to work on my site's graphic design :) Have you been watching the XML files the last couple of days? Did you notice the large drop in the number of users/teams? Seems to be fixed today but it sure had me spooked there for a while. |

I started my stats 2 day's ago, and I haven't seen any changes..... I only have the team-stats up and running, and today I start on the user stats. I filter out teams with less then 1 total credit, so maybe that's the reason I don't see a drop in the number of teams. Any clue how to decode the UNIX time stamp on my Windows XP machine? |

I just updated, and there are a lot more teams now then yesterday. In fact, my team went down 1973 places, though we accumulated some credit. In my list there are 3808 with more then 0 total credit. |
