It's a shame that's what it's come to, but I'd rather have the perp pay a fine, then me get sued for yelling "pull your d**n pants up ni***r"!!! ...and the term means "socially disadvantaged", not a reference to race. <a href="http://www.brainsmashr.com"><img src="http://www.brainsmashr.com/signature.gif"><img src="http://brainsmashr.com/boinc/counter_big.php?id=305369&project=seti&ctx=white&cva=red&cbo=white&cbg=black&linethickness=2"></a> |

Excuse me B.S., But It is an insult in whatever way you define it... Talk about a racist remark. It dosn't matter if it was started by any particuler group, etnic, sports etc. I like the G-Strings and if the girls want to show it let them. Of course it is a distration for teen boys.... How about the new shorts that has writing on them. You look at their butts to read it. It is natural. But it does not have a racial tone. Just my 2cents Timmy |

It is that other foul ignorant critter who thinks slang derived from a word originally associated with people of color is not a racist remark... As long as people think like that racism will survive.. I refuse to think like that!! I'd rather speak my mind because it hurts too much to bite my tongue. > Excuse me B.S., But It is an insult in whatever way you define it... It's supposed to be an insult, but it's not "my" definition, it's Merriam-Webster's......but I guess you think they're racist too, huh? 3: a member of a socially disadvantaged class of persons http://m-w.com Definition It might help if you guys read a little more than just the garbage your liberal friends post. Now, if you're too stupid to know or care your pants are falling off and someone needs to tell you to pull your d**n pants up, then you ARE socially disadvantaged because walking around with your drawers showing IS NOT acceptable to the majority of Americans. In other words, these individuals do not have the skills it takes to thrive in a social setting outside of their little world, they are socially disadvantaged. <a href="http://www.brainsmashr.com"><img src="http://www.brainsmashr.com/signature.gif"><img src="http://brainsmashr.com/boinc/counter_big.php?id=305369&project=seti&ctx=white&cva=red&cbo=white&cbg=black&linethickness=2"></a> |

Am I the only one who looks at links within links? links within links brainmusher has shown, once again, his moral and ethical disadvantage... |

But, why is something wrong with me when I look at the girls showing their g-string or cleavage. They put it out there to be seen, but act offended when someone looks. <B>. 0Â Â Â <A HREF="http://home.bellsouth.net/p/PWP-patriotspage">My Web Page</a> . |LÂ Â Later, .(__)Â Â QuadMan2</B> |

Main Entry: nig·ger Pronunciation: 'ni-g&r Function: noun Etymology: alteration of earlier neger, from Middle French negre, from Spanish or Portuguese negro, from negro black, from Latin niger 1 usually offensive, see usage paragraph below : a black person 2 usually offensive, see usage paragraph below : a member of any dark-skinned race 3 : a member of a socially disadvantaged class of persons usage Nigger in senses 1 and 2 can be found in the works of such writers of the past as Joseph Conrad, Mark Twain, and Charles Dickens, but it now ranks as perhaps the most offensive and inflammatory racial slur in English. Its use by and among blacks is not always intended or taken as offensive, but, except in sense 3, it is otherwise a word expressive of racial hatred and bigotry. |

uh..... misfit, I'm inclined to think you may have posted a post which is misleading or could easily be misread. I don't think you mean to bolster or abet mushbrain's bigotry.... But taken as is written, your post seems to indicate something I wouldn't expect from you. It may be unclear to some, just who you are indicating is uneducated. I don't think you meant to say ''they'' , the socially disadvantaged, are more likely uneducated??? ____________________ When I hear people say nigger, I always tell them,""There aren't any niggers round here except for you and I"". That usually shuts them up. Not sure if brainsmushed could grasp the concept though. |

Well, I've not heard the term "nigger" (I presume the *** meant nigger!) for a LONG time here in the UK. Maybe 15 yrs or more. I find it odd as well, as when I read the article I thought of a recent teeenager I worked with (white) - most of the workforce, myself included, were laughing about him wearing his pants so low.. some of the ladies said that they'd tell him off about it! That was in Canada a few months ago. <img border="0" src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php?userID=268&prj=1&trans=off" /><img border="0" src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/one/stats.php?userID=268&prj=4&trans=off" /> |

> > little world, they are socially disadvantaged. > > More like uneducated. That's funny, because I don't remember taking pull your d**n pants up in public school OR college. :) Could you mean their parents didn't teach them what they need to know in order to exist within a normal society? Wouldn't that be socially disadvantaged? As in lacking the skills to exist within a normal society? <a href="http://www.brainsmashr.com"><img src="http://www.brainsmashr.com/signature.gif"><img src="http://brainsmashr.com/boinc/counter_big.php?id=305369&project=seti&ctx=white&cva=red&cbo=white&cbg=black&linethickness=2"></a> |
