Hi!

I recently upgraded OS on one of my hosts (from Win 2k advanced server to win 2k3 standard server). Unluckily I was not able to save the boinc files beforehand, so the host got a new identification.

I am not able to merge the two records as the OS version is different (all the rest is the same).

Is it possible to merge two such records?

Not without some xml editing and I don't recomend it.

After all the results for that computer have been removed from the server you will be able to delete the record of it. This normally takes a month or 2 on seti.

Hello,

Thanks for the hint. I did the editing and I managed to do it. Not too difficult though if you do things in the right way (this includes editing file client_state.xml, fields hostid and rpc_seqno fields).
