how to get works after the first one?

I have install boinc on linux4.13 gentoo with the project seti...... The first process is complete but after that boinc does'nt take other process anymore....... so how to get the followed process? thx |

and also when I tri to update the preferences, it gives "project URL not found". can you help me pleeaaaaaaaasssssseeeeeeee? thx |

I looked at your computers. It appears that you have 4 xp2500's but I suspect that you only have 1 xp2500. Type the "top" command in a terminal window. How many instances of setiathome do you have running? I suggest that you reboot your linux box and start the boinc client just once. you can check to see that it is processing by using the "top" command to ensure that setiathome is using most (>98 percent)of your processor. you can also check the progress of the work unit being processed by using the grep command. type grep "fraction_done" client_state.xml at your prompt to get the fraction of completion for the current work unit The client_state.xml file is in your boinc folder. You can also type grep "current_cpu_time" client_state.xml at your prompt to get the amount of time in seconds that the current work unit has been processing. |
