They have just upgrated the server code. Maybe the server code base is getting beyond the ability to use an old client. To get a better answer you should post to the Number Crunching. Becanuse of the low number of participants here we do all our communaction there. |

Well, I made a BOINCzilla entry, that should arrive where something can be done :-) Afaik. 4.19 was the last one that didn't ignore stuff that it did not know, the fix is dated Oct. 2004 - but 4.19 brings me through firewall authentication on 3 boxes where 5.x fails :-/ Thanks! Btw.: that part should be treated very careful, 4.19 together with the new scheduler either downloads tons of WUs (which never arrive) or creates tons of host entries. |
