Club InformationPresident: Allan Santos Vice President: Aaron Parsons Safety Officer: Betsy Bamberger Practice: T/Th 7-10 pm at the RSF. Club Dues: $25 per semester or $45 per year Equipment: Eye guards are mandatory for safety issues, as are non-marking indoor court shoes. If you do not own a racquet or eyeguards, come anyway--we'll lend you some. Stringing: Rick Morris (cell: 326-8743, office: 643-2946) has agreed to provide stringing service for the team: $17-$25, or $10 if you provide your own string (for the team string, ask Allan or Del). Skill levels: We range in skill levels from beginners to tournament players. All of the more advanced players are willing to play/instruct/coach any skill level. Come and improve your game! T-shirts: You can get a Cal Racquetball T-shirt for $15, or $10 if you've paid your Club dues. AnnouncementsWill will be hosting a scrimmage Oct. 29 at the RSF vs. Stanford.Team Tryouts are Sept. 20th. Competition for spots on the team will continue throughout the year--this just sets an initial hierarchy. Those who are just interested in club play are welcome to come, watch, and play when courts are available. |
