July - August, 2003: Summer at Blue Sky and Acadia

Almost every year since I was a wee lad I've gone to Schroon Lake in the Adirondacks of upstate New York to visit my extended family. The last two years Sarah and I have made an addendum to this trip with a visit to Acadia National Park in Maine for a visit with her family. Both of these places are terrific, naturally beautiful areas with lots of loved ones. It is a great way to spend a relaxing summer vacation.

Sarah and I went first to Blue Sky, then to Acadia, then back to Boston, with an excursion for a day to Cape Cod to visit Sarah's uncle, aunt, and cousins.
