Thanks for the win Zoom.

The following are the Rules:

-------------

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violators buy drinks or a meal for the house in Rocky's.
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post)

Have fun!

Congrats Mike.

Posting on a cool Hump Day morning where it's 5C (feels like 2C) as the sun rises and 22C is expected.

Time now for a coffee.

Cheers.

Congratulations Mike,

Enjoy a goodly cryptic next change-over.

Meanwhile... I'm lost in a surprisingly bad food desert! So bad I've had to resort to a takeaway pizza!!! The first since months ago...

I'm due back here again next week 'sometime depending'... I likely will be bringing special supplies!

(No wonder the NHS is crippled by so many unhealthy health problems...)

I was planning on doing some more yard work this morning, but between the smoke and wind it's not that pleasant out there with the temp currently at 14C (feels like 9C). A slight shift in the wind now is starting to move that smoke band to the south of us, though it does bring another to the north closer (but neither source of the smoke is close to here).

Anyhow I better go and let Dog off as I decide on what to do instead.

Cheers.

Out in the blustery dark.

Storm? What storm? Here at least there is naught more than an occasional damp patch. Still, this is strangely not cold...

Strange weather indeed...

There is a moving CO2 geyser in CA near the Salton Sea, between the highway sr111 and the railroad tracks.

That wind finally went somewhere else and I got my 1st discharge of my line trimmer in and after this coffee break (and while the trimmer recharges) I'm see if the old lawnmower wants to start.

Anyhow we're now at 16C (feels like 13C) here.

Cheers.

I may be going on a weight loss drug soon, 35lbs was mentioned, more after that, if it were 35lbs a month, that would be 6 months to about 270lbs, better than where I'm at now. My Doctor has to set everything up.

Well I got 2/3rds of the yard done today and I'll finish the rest off tomorrow, but it does look much better now even if it is dry.

Anyhow it's time for a beer or 4 now.

Cheers.

Martin, how was the pizza? I know it is a hard option. But I know a local “for me” pizza chain store. If you don’t like what they make. Just tell them what you want on it with the toppings they have. I have had them make pizzas you had to eat with a fork and knife. And cost slightly north of £34 British Pounds. I know I’m throwing a dart in the dark with this. Is there a Walmart type store you can go to? If so. Try looking in produce for a prepackaged salad or something of the sort if feasible.

Winning after enjoying a chicken schnitzel, chips and veggies up at the pub.

Now I think that I'll crash.

Cheers.
