Well here we go again, dumb luck strikes again.

The following are the Rules:
-------------

1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one with a post of these rules.
2. Chooses a future event which triggers the winner, e.g. post number, date-time, and records it privately somehow (yellow sticky, etc.)
3. Everyone has fun posting until the target event is reached.
4. When the target is reached, old winner posts declaration of new winner and also PMs them.
5. Shortly after this a Mod will lock the recently won thread. (My preference is for the winner to ask the mods to lock the old thread after the new one is started.)
6. No double posts. Violators buy drinks or a meal for the house in Rocky's.
7. Additional rule retained from the last round - No posts that APPEAR to be blank - these will be ignored or deleted. (Sig lines do not count as part of a post)

Have fun!

After a foggy and frosty start here the fog has finally lifted to reveal the sunshine so my little metalwork job can get underway today as soon as it warms up enough out there, currently its 7C (feels like 5C) out there as frost still lays on the ground, but Robbie the Robot is quickly taking the chill out of the air downstairs so I'll soon have more room to move around in without having to throw on extra clothing.

Cheers.

In Thunderbirds the call F.A.B. may mean nothing but in Captain Scarlet the call sign S.I.G.had meaning.
The Spectrum organizations' radio code SIG stood for Spectrum Is Green (essentially an OK), whilst the less used SIR stood for Spectrum Is Red (indicating a dangerous situation).

Another victory for Victor. Congratulations, S.I.G.

It's now up to a sunny 12C (feels like 9C) here as I'm about to head outside to start doing that work that I was to start yesterday that the crap weather prevented.

Anyhow I better get out of here before Robbie cooks me with the small breakfast that I gave him (it's now 28C downstairs, up from 6C).

Cheers.

Congrats on winning the thread Victor.
Hope you are surviving this heat wave.

Thanks and I am, I've lived in the desert since 2004, next month I just get to buy a new battery for my car, then I can take out the trash.

As I finish a well deserved LLB the mercury here has just hit the 16C mark (feels like just on the 14C mark) and it's now time to finished de-burring the metal pieces that I cut this morning.

[edit] Well that's as far as I can go with that job today as I need an extra pair of hands to complete the job, but anyway it's Beer O'clock now while making a call or 2.

Cheers.

Under a tumultuous sky!

... And we have a new recruit...

I found a circle of paw prints on top of one of the equipment boxes. Some ghost manifested to haunt us?... Rather curious, until... During one of the downpours... We gained...

Purring...

I took a sneak peek to see... Some cat has sneaked in to curl up and take peaceful refuge in one of the more dusty corners where everything is remotely controlled and people rarely go.

Cue scene for some Sci-Fi drama?!

Posting on another frosty morning in the highlands where it's -2C (feels like -6C) with 17C expected.

Anyhow my coffee is ready to be had.

Cheers.

Thor’s warning up outside. Humidity is sky high. Heat Index is +14f° above ambient. Feels like 100°f at 11pm.

We made it to 17C (felt like 14C) here today and I got my little metalwork job finished outside so I'll have to come up with something else to do for tomorrow now.

Cheers.

Have a good day Mike.

I might be a pensioned off old partial paraplegic Admiral, but I find it very hard to be inactive when I can be doing something.

I think that I'll prune the crepe myrtles out front as soon as it gets warm enough tomorrow morning. ;-)

Cheers.

Comfy 60f as I watched the sun rise. But it slated to hit 99f about 3. Glad I will be in San Francisco most of the day. The high there will be 65f.

Yes... We've got excess humidity precipitating from the Sky into very soggy earth...

Still not sure if our newly adopted furball is purring or snoring when curled up, up on high in the long forsaken dusty corner...
