Vic did you get that 2nd AC up and running? No, it's still on the list to buy, I need to buy a new vanity and a sink and get it installed in my bathroom and install a toilet, that will take until around November to accomplish, I'll see about the a/c in December 2023 to March 2024. My current bathroom vanity and sink, dry rot in the front, not in the top. A Frigidaire 12K 115v unit should fit. And I have sections of fiberboard floor that thanks to an icemaker overflow cause an exfriend added water to an icemaker, the ex wanted to speed up ice cube making and that is a no no as it just makes water from the pipe overflow to the floor and now I have a damaged floor... And I have no idea of who could replace the missing floor areas, maybe flooring installers? The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Posting on another frosty morning in the highlands where it's currently -2C (feels like -5C), but there's still time for it to get colder. Anyhow it's coffee time now. Cheers. |

Vic did you get that 2nd AC up and running? I'd changed that to a 12K ductless heatpump(21 seer rating) that operates at 115vac, I'd looked for 18k at 115v but 12k is as high as I could find at 115v, then I can get my window back. Why 115v over 230v? The parks OLD electric service is 60 Amps per space, I once had an electric clothes dryer and someone installed a 60 amp breaker and everytime I started it my 100 Amp main breaker would trip as the home is only getting 60 Amps and not 100 Amps. 230v might be better, but the parks buried infrastructure is an antique according to California government... Well 90mins later the temp here had dropped down to -5C (felt like -8C) and we're now back at where it was when I got up with just 13C being expected today and we're still waiting for the wind to arrive, but the sun is shining. I'll remain inside for while longer before I go out again and maybe do a bit more pruning. Cheers. |

I'm getting a new lesson in sciatica today. :-( Not only do I have some bugger driving a railroad spike into my hip (as usual) but now some bugger is doing the same thing to the knee at the same time. I'll have a feed, take a pill, go for a spinal reset and see if that helps. Cheers. |

Looks almost like my cat Sylvester, that tabby could have looked like his mom. Sylvester is allowing me to pick him up a bit more, though still not much on the purr front, yet I hear a faint noise there. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Posting on another frosty start down under where currently it's 2C (feels like -2C), but there's still time for that to drop further with sunrise still being an hour away. Anyhow the railway spikes havn't returned so so far I'm normally mobile again and it's time for a coffee. Cheers. |

Indeed! Happy Birthday Mike! Enjoy some partying?! Meanwhile I'm enjoying some smoothly working equipment despite the mosquito contaminated humid heat we have at the moment. With added portent of Thor partying through the night to come... And the deluges are Biblical!! BIBLICAL I'll tell ya!! Surface waters instantly arise ankle deep as the drains and ditches are quickly overwhelmed... (... Do we really want to add yet more concrete and tarmac over the ever diminishing green land?...) I love chocolate cake made from cocoa, milk chocolate? Yuck... It's 79F inside and 79 outside with a high of 92 predicted for today, last night I sprayed an insect barrier around my home which trapped one insect inside who I escorted outside this morning, I didn't want it to have any of Mikes cake. That was about a 160' walk, my leg joints are not happy today. In July I call a plumber for the kitchen(faucet and icemaker valving), in August I buy a new bathroom vanity kit made of real wood which I can use 2 part adhesive on, then a sink-top, then a plumber for the vanity and maybe install a new toilet that I already bought. Dry rot happened to the front of my current fiberboard(MDF) vanity. The doors and hinges I still have. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |
