Seti servers show I have a work unit in the field that doesn't show in my boinc application is it possible to instruct the servers to resend the workunit or state the workunit has errored out. work unit 8526185287 I was trying to get opencl working and deleted the debian seti package (anonymous) and use the official seti app and had 3 work units error out and one vanish.

It's what is known as a Ghost WU, The servers think you have it but your don't.
It is possible to recover the WU, but it involves a whole lot of mucking around. If it were a few hundred WUs i probably try to recover them, but for just one, i personally wouldn't bother.
When the reporting date for the WU comes & goes, it will be resent to another system, and come up as an error on yours as "Not reported by deadline".
