Message 2023148 - Posted: 14 Dec 2019, 21:27:30 UTC - in response to Message 2023143.

I wonder if Eric has increased the limits again because we are currently running at 7.27 million.
Nope.
I'd say it's due to all the shorties in the system at the moment- people that weren't hitting the server-side limits due to their cache setting are now carrying more WUs in their caches due to the shorter WU runtimes and the higher server-side limits. Once the shorties work through the system and we get longer running WUs again, the Work-in-progress should drop back down again,.

I have a box with 6 gpus and one cpu. It is showing 2,000 tasks waiting to be processed on the Website.

That sounds about right I think for having NOT reverted to the lower processing limits while reverting to the previous version of server code.

Does the limits changed again?

It looks like the limits are now 150 for the CPU and 250 per GPU

Can anyone confirm or not that?

It would seem from my two crunchers, that the defaults have been changed from 200 CPU + 300 per GPU to 150/150. Any info about that? Did I miss an announcement or something?

In December they changed it from 100 for CPUs plus 100 for each GPU to 200/400 and soon after that to 200/300.
After the super long Tuesday downtime they dropped the numbers to 150/250 and after today's outage to 150/150.
