How can I download the screen saver and get started ?

First, download "BOINC" from this link: https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/join.php - choose the version without Virtual Box", and make sure you pick the correct version for your operating system (normally you are only offered the right one).
Then follow the instructions of this page https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/join.php

After downloading BOINC you must install it: typically this means double-clicking on the file icon when the download is finished.

When you first run BOINC, you will be asked to choose a project. For instructions, see the BOINC User Manual.

You may run this software on a computer only if you own the computer or have the permission of its owner.
