Hi
I've installed the boinc Screen Saver on my PC.
However it does not seem to work.
I get a screensaver loading message and nothing more.

How do I get the screen saver to work?
Am I missing something?

The screen saver is a duo part thing here. It requires a separate graphics application in combination with the science application. As far as I know, only Windows and Mac OS have these, they weren't built for Linux.
So you just have the BOINC screen saver.

See also https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/BOINC_screensaver and check there which options you have to run the screen saver. I'd disable the project screen saver, thus set Run project screensavers for to Never.

OK. So no screen saver for Linux.
No problem.
Thanks.
