Dear All - i used to run seti@home about 10 years ago - naturally i have a new(ish) hp laptop and cannot get past "failure to add" message - what gives - i have fibre to the premises ! yours faithfully Ollie Brooks :-) ps i have a valid account.

A little bit more info on exactly when the message appears and how you are "adding" your PC might help.

Some people have problems with an "over active" antivirus and you made need to "exclude" the Boinc directory from being scanned.
