Hi,
it's literally since yesterday I started running 3 projects on my BOINC client and I'm not really completely aware yet of how all the technical part works (I'll of course look into it)
What I was asking myself is, why this and similar projects don't just send "some" (?) wu with the only purpose of mining bitcoins to self-found the project? As far as I know, the concept of "pooled mining" exists and works, simply instead of splitting the revenues it would go to the project founds.

Shouldn't it be possible? Would it be convenient or it would steal too much cpu time from the project work (beside the time needed to predispose a client update)?
