A group of blacks: Present Day - Non racist
A horde of blacks: Present Day - Racist and Disgusting

On your "understanding" of the written word, "a Horde of Mongols" is also racist!

In that case oh "enlightened history professor", I suggest you contact every media outlet & demand they get up to date & more political correct :-)

Climate change may have stopped Mongol Hordes

BTW, write to those scientists as well :-)

... is still in our reference books.

No Sirius B... I will not enter that Racist World you are referencing and celebrating.

Oh "illustrious Hysterical professor" as it is still being used today by teachers, scientists etc, shouldn't you be attacking them rather than labelling the students of history?

However, as YOU continue labelling everyone that disagrees with you & the garbage you emit, we also have the right to label you.

A fast food franchise advertising a $20/hr job is… not quite what the anti-worker lobby groups said would happen if we raised the wage.

But that’s exactly what you can see in the window of a downtown Seattle Jimmy John’s today:

jimmy johns $20
Photo posted to twitter by @carlodavis_

And here’s the kicker: Earlier this year, the founder of Jimmy John’s (whose first two names really are "Jimmy" and "John") told a business publication that minimum wage increases are a challenge because they mean "less profit and more work"… for the owners of the chain.

Huh.

So… that sign at Jimmy John's + that quote from Jimmy John himself — how does it all make you feel?

lol I'm laughing so hard I'm crying

grrrrrr I'm angry

hmmmmmm I'm thinking

mmmmmm I'm hungry

Now of course we all know that one job posting doesn't really "prove" anything. But the data does show that jobs are growing in our state — and the places were workers won the largest wage increaes are growing the fastest. And nothing breaks through the trickle-down nonsense from minimum wage opponents quite like photo evidence.

So: see a sign advertising good jobs in places where the Chicken Littles said it wasn't possible? Email info@workingwa.org and let us know about it!

Cheers,
Working Washington
