My wife and I, love IKEA. We even have their 'Card' for purchases and discounts.

I knew it. Hehehe:)
In Russia there was the Russian Revolution.
In Estonia there was the Singing Revolution.
Here we had the IKEA Revolution!
And now Ukraine!

Good luck "Donbass"!
Blockade Leaves Tens of Thousands Without Salaries in Eastern Ukraine.
The ongoing economic blockade of the Russian-occupied Eastern Ukraine takes toll on lives of thousands of people, trapped in the war-torn region. Russian backed separatists took over the administrations of local Ukrainian companies in early 2017. Since then, the legal owners have ceased paying staff salaries. Currently, all trade with the uncontrolled part of Donbas has been suspended.
Meanwhile, the head of the so-called "DPR", Oleksandr Zakharchenko, who previously promised an "avalanche of investment" into the Donbas economy, said that all the companies will continue to work normally and produce goods for export. However, he did not elaborate on where they would export to. The companies' previous management said this is impossible.

Oleksandr Zakharchenko!
You are not up to this.
Thugs never do!

I'm from Donbassia.

KyivPost: Kyiv’s General Vatutin Avenue renamed Roman Shukhevych Avenue - https://www.kyivpost.com/ukraine-politics/kyivs-general-vatutin-avenue-renamed-roman-shukhevych-avenue.html

Roman Shukhevych was the hauptman of the Nazi Germans 201st Schutzmannschaft Battalion, the "hero" of killing Jews. Later, as the leader of UPA, he was the "hero" of killing Poles and ethnic cleanings.

Makes you wonder...
Due to the centenary of the birth of Roman Shuchevytu, Ukraine issued a stamp. It's not the first time Ukraine honoring a controversial nationalist. The same thing happened in 2009 on Stepan Banderas 100th birthday.

"Today’s decision by the Arbitration Institute in Stockholm gives answers to legal questions in the dispute concerning the 2009 contract on gas deliveries between Naftogaz and Gazprom ...
Their position on key issues was as follows:
1) The condition "take or pay" (the lion's share of Gazprom's financial claims) is abolished in full;
2) The prohibition of re-export is canceled in full;
3) The price formula has been revised from 2014 – [to the] European [hub] price,"

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny claims, if he is elected president, he is ready to withdraw Russian troops from the occupied areas of eastern Ukraine and hold a fair referendum in the Russian-annexed Crimea, according to the Russian independent television channel Dozhd.

Yes:(
Like Boris Nemtsov last year:(

Perhaps Putin will invite Alexei Navalny for a nice cup of tea.
Putin has many friends that are ready and able to do his dirty laundry.
I wonder what happened to the Police Officer in Saint Petersburg that wanted to open a criminal investigation about Putin's dodgy business when he was a mayor there...

How many, from that war torn, politically deranged region. Will not return.

Hmm.
That war torn, politically deranged region is Donbass.
They all want to go to Russia and become Gopniks.

But on the other hand.
Where will the Ukrainians find jobs?
Not here. I can tell you that.

LOL. Wiggo, nobody will kills political midgets who have support of 5 or 6 percent of voters in maximum. And new statements of Navalny make his support lesser only.
Nemtsov also was midget in politics, "a downed pilot", person with absolutely not enough weight to be threat. All is very unclear with his assassination, it was profitable for Putin opponents only.

June 12 is celebrating "Russia's Day", a holiday commemorating the day 1990 declared by Russia "self-governing" from the Soviet Union. And it is no coincidence that it is just on "Russia's Day" that opposition leader the "Midget" Aleksej Navalnyj has urged nationwide demonstrations and protests against corruption that is one of Russia's major problems.
Last time Navalnyj urged people to protest in the same way, and for the same reason, it was March 26th. Then the protests gathered tens of thousands of participants on up to 100 different places around the country.

As of 15:00 Kyiv time, more than 1,100 Ukrainians have crossed the border with the countries of the European Union without visas, according to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
And it's not even midnight yet:)

It didn't take long.
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been detained at home ahead of a planned unauthorised protest in Moscow, his wife says.
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-40245152
OVD-Info, an NGO, says 121 people have been detained in Moscow and 137 in St Petersburg.
St Petersburg news website Fontanka.ru put the number of detainees there at 300.
Police in central Moscow wear gas masks, according to witnesses.
Pepper spray is said to be used against the protesters, but it is unclear who is spreading it, according to Reuters.

For the young protester Aleksej Borisenko, it was obvious to protest, despite the risk of being arrested.
"The Icelandic Prime Minister was fired because of irregularities that appeared in the Panama papers. Our prime minister is involved in major corruption crimes, but he stays on his post. It is very strange", says Aleksej Borisenko.

P.S. In 1991, after the fall of the USSR, Ukraine was the richest and well-developed republic in the ex-USSR. Now, after many years of "progress", it become an "Africa in Europe".

That's true Igor.
A combination of public mistrust in vaccinations, poor vaccine supply, and corruption in the health system has left Ukraine with worryingly low rates of immunisation. .

Kazakhstan Spent $5 Billion on a Death Star and It Doesn’t Even Shoot Lasers
The Central Asian country built a futuristic city to host the World's Fair and polish its own brand. One small problem: it forgot to invite guests.
