Try engaging in discussion, not just political partisan rhetoric. Try helping people understand why they're wrong or why you believe they're wrong. Try backing up your statements with reasoned comments. At least Major Kong does these things while still disagreeing with us. Try it some time.

The first step is to define what evil is. There is little agreement here.

Some people think it is a particular religious belief, and while people are pointing at Muslims crying "stop thief" there has been a far right coup in the Whitehouse.

Even as people scream "Muslims are coming to get us" you president is stripping rights and protections from the vulnerable so his friends can make more money.

My problem is that you seem to define anyone that questions you as having a problem stopping "evil", then you point to all sorts of groups (Nazi, Marxism, etc), then you make subtle inferences to people on this forum belonging to said groups, thus obtusely equating your perception of other people as belonging to those groups and argue with them accordingly. You never allows for shades of gray; you never seem to understand the subtle differences in all of us; you never seem to allow yourself to learn from others, or indeed allow us to learn from you. You seem to enjoy partisan arguments like two fans of different sports teams bickering over whose is better.

Right now the evil I see that must be stopped is your anti-intellectualism. You cited a personal story about how poorly treated you were by a bunch of liberal-minded people, so you now sit there as judge of any liberally minded person and attack them at any chance you get, thus making you no better than the people who attacked you.

How would I accomplish stopping this? Foolishly I seem to think I can actually get you to start providing reasons for your arguments. To find common ground. To find points of difference in the reasons themselves, not the vagaries of partisanship. Foolishly I underestimate your fear and insecurity to engage in an intellectual exchange of views and reasons. You're too scared of being wrong; of being seen as weak. You're too insecure in your positions to provide your reasoning, knowing that under public scrutiny they might show they don't hold water.

So you tell me. How do we accomplish engaging you in intellectual conversation? To move beyond these denigrating posts of those that disagree with you and toward something more?

Yes, and the dictators of those states have erected barriers which prevent people from leaving those states and going to more enlightened states; thus, they are prisoners to the whims of fascist dictators. The only path to freedom is a one-state system lead by a popularly elected for life obama, who can executively order an invitation to take all of australia's immigrant prisoners, allow anyone of the world's peace loving religions to join us, and ask all of our friends in central and south american to pass through our borders.

They actually weren't prisoners at all (more fake news and Trumple-speak, eh?)-

They are only in 'detention centers' because that's what Australia does with potential refugees when they have no place to go. And "all"? "ALL"?, there's a huge difference between a pre-determined number (1000) and "all".
