(CNN)Fidel Castro, the Cuban despot who famously proclaimed after his arrest in a failed coup attempt that history would absolve him, has died aged 90.

Just another Criminal Leader dead. Good riddance.

Unfortunately. The Cuban People's Ruling Class, as the Venezuelan People's Ruling Class, are still in Power.

I would like to also say "good riddance" but ... .
Though it was probably never specifically said by my elders while growing up, I believe somehow I was taught I should not wish anyone ill, not even any enemy.
So, instead, I say, "Good luck, Cuba."
Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes.

I really hate adding all these people to my "ignore list" ... but users that are just rude fools are a waste of time to read.
No need to converse with this communist person or read his or her drivel.

America has made lots of stupid mistakes in the past and offered support to a vareity of absurd despots the world over.
Fidel Castro is finally dead. I hope the Cuban people will soon be able to rid themselves of his brother and the Castro legacy.

Rest In Peace ???
....he's not resting, he's DEAD

Fidel is the only leader of a country I know of who frequently sat in the plaza of his capital city and did not have or need security.

If one is to judge success, that is a hard standard to exceed, especially for dictator.
