Hey all...I have Seti@Home working on my laptop, but downloaded Boinc on my desktop and signed in only for it to tell me there was no work available to process. Is this an error? My laptop is continually working on new stuff even as the desktop just sits idle.

According to the Server Status page, there's over 500,000 workunits waiting to be sent out. However, the Ready to Send queue only contains 100 workunits at a time. Clients are allowed to grab up to 20 if I remember correctly, which means as little as 5 hosts can drain the queue. The queue refills quickly, but it really comes down to the luck of the draw.

If you see that message after more than a few hours, it would be time to start looking deeper. To start, exact messages would be more helpful.

The server status page shows the scheduling server and upload server as off line, so the message you get is correct, there is no work available from this project at this time.

Not an error, just an informational message.
