And many of you have noticed or witnessed my struggles in this life.
Due mostly to my struggles with alcohol addiction.

But, if not for them, many would never have come to know me, for I would not have shared such things with you.

So. Just take it as the double edged sword that it is, please.

Thank me for my insights when I am sober, and for my soul baring when I am not.
They are both part and parcel of who I am, who I have become.
What I am now.

As a man approaching 60 years of age, I really find that I don't have to apologize much for what I have done in years past.

I have covered it over and over again. JJ stories, anybody???

It was so long ago. And yet, a part of what is now me...myself and I.

And as you have been included, you as well.

I have had quite a life, and it is winding down now.

Both of my brothers were there and we had some very good conversations.
And as usual, dear Mom can still cook! So dinner was delicious and plentiful. Came home with a few containers of leftovers as well, so another meal or two courtesy of Mom.

Kitties were smilin' when I got home to give them some fresh cuddles.

One of my brothers comes up from Racine in southern Wisconsin, and the other comes down from Butternut, way way up in northern Wisconsin. So we all get together but once a year. I do see Mom once in a while during the year, as she is in Oshkosh, about 20 miles south of me.

I ran across Micke Muster by accident when downloading some music for my iPod.....
I believe I did a search for a Jerry Lee song title and Micke's version was in the list. Gave it a whirl and liked what I heard, so I then sought out some of his other material. Like his arrangements and solid tone.

Ahhhhhh..........
And the kitties' green star is lit once again. Finally.
Made a couple of donations back in August, but the system was broken and my star didn't come back. They came out of my bank account, but were a no show on my Seti account.

Made another one today, and things worked properly. In about 40 minutes, my account was updated and my green star was once again shining properly.

The kitties are pleased.

I had a brother that jumped offa a bridge.

Now I know why.

I really did have a good afternoon with my mom.

Why life takes me here, I do not know.
I guess it's just because I wish things were how they might have been.
But I guess life is full of how they might have been's now could it have not.

I was within 30 seconds of pulling him back.

So, 30 seconds ended his life and altered mine forever.

Even today, when I was with my other brother, his wonderful wife, and my niece, pretending to be a kitty..............I had to wonder what it might have been with my other brother still alive.

It never came up in discussion today.

I have an 'inkling', I lost my two closest friends 3 months apart this summer. And the near loss of a third last week(double bypass) jolted me to the core.

'Brothers in Arms' all, roommates between failed marriages, the bond over 45 years was as 'blood'. I just realized the 'funk' I've been in since September 1st was in fact depression......anger at their loss and at my own mortality.

Thankfully my demons don't run to alcohol and harder pathways, but I do live in the land of Legal Lotus Smokers and have wasted many days in the last two months.

Not a good way to live for me.........

I think you already know this, or have surmised such.
For all my pretty postings here and there about being the kittyman, and I am.......
I am not what I pretend to be.

I get things done. I have the power to get things done.
And what gets done is mine to determine.
You do not understand this yet, or believe it, but you shall.

I have gained the trust and through my means, have many powerful friends./
And I do appreciate the seriousness of my situation at this time.
It is not pretty. But, I shall prevail, for the worst of my hand has yet to be played, and they know that.

Not always of good intent, but they do my bidding.

I am/. Not what you might wish me to be.

I shall go to bed at now, quite secure.
With my two 11yo cats and a peaceful mind some of you shall never know.
For I have purchased that with hard work and some bits of luck.
I have been dealt a good hand in life.

And none can touch me whilst I sleep.

Just know that my intentions are good, and shall not harm anybody in my lifetime.

But also know, that my lifetime is waning, and things shall happpen then.
I bid you very well until then.

The ol' kittyman checking in again.

Got a break from OT this week.
11, 11, 11, and they let us out after 10 hours tonight.
No mandatory OT tomorrow either.

You see, this is Wisconsin, home of the great white hunter....LOL.
Saturday is the opening day of deer hunting season, and it's an annual ritual for many sportsmen here. So much so, that the fire truck factory would not even THINK of scheduling mandatory OT for the first shift workers for Saturday.
So, we who are on second shift get the benefit of no scheduled OT on Friday.

And, next week is the week of our Thanksgiving holiday, so we shall be working 11, 11, and 10 with a four day vacation.

The kittyman does love his job, but I am very thankful for the break in the action for a bit over the coming holiday season.

Once again, I shall link you to something I thing is significant.

Nothing new. I have probably posted it before.

But tonight, I have to do so again.

The political winds are in change, and who knows who might be in charge to determine what is right and what is wrong?

In any case, a good study in exactly what a man might do to protect and defend, and if he loses all, what he might do to make it right in his mind.

Law Abiding Citizen.

I am one these days. Do not disregard what I could do if my kitties were threatened. The legal system is far too warped these days to remember that is it suppose to protect the innocent, not the guilty.+

You have to watch the whole two hour movie to get where he was going.
And only then, can you pass a judgement on whether his action were justifiable.

Get back to me.

I might go to sleep now, but I have seen the movie many, many, times.
So you work on it whilst I get some rest.
