Talked to Lori for a bit this morning.
We are both still taken aback by the loss of dear Ty kitty.
Hard to believe it's not just a bad dream.
She will be laying him to rest soon alongside her other dearly departed kitties.

Goodbye, dear Ty. Know that you are still much loved and missed sooooooooo much.

I am very sorry Mark.
We have had cats be put to sleep, and pass away in our arms.
There is no replacing the loss either way.

Thank you for the kind thoughts, Steve.
Still having a rough time of it today.
Lori has laid dear Ty to rest.
She also spoke with her long time vet this morning, and he reassured her that she had done everything that was possible for Ty.

His brother Leo was looking and calling to Ty this morning. Lori brought the blanket we had wrapped him with into the house so Leo could get his scent. That seemed to calm him a bit. Being littermate brothers, it's going to take Leo a while to adjust to the absence of his kitty soulmate.

Yesterday was also Lori's only son's birthday. We are going out to a nice Italian restaurant tonight and shall endeavor to have a good evening with him.

Not sleeping well tonight. My thoughts are still consumed with memories of Ty Ty. Gonna be that way for a while, I suppose. Leo kitty is still trying to figure out where he went. After dinner last night, we went back to Lori's and watched a DVD. Leo was sitting in the living room with us, constantly looking about to find his lost brother. That is also gonna be that way for a while. I gave him lots of extra pettings to try to console him.

Dinner last night was awesome. Victoria's Italian Cuisine is a recommended place to try if you are ever in Appleton, Wisconsin and like Italian food.

I had the chicken with Parmigiana sauce. This restaurant is notorious for it's huge portions. My huge plateful had 3 large pieces of chicken atop a bed of fettuccini noodles, covered in red sauce. You can mix and match any combination of meat and sauces that you could ever wish for. You could eat there like, forever, and seldom have the same thing twice.

And the man who never walks out of a restaurant with a doggy bag ended up with a full chicken breast and noodles for dinner on Sunday night.

Well, I should go back to bed with my kitties and try to get some more sleep, troubled as it may be.
Want to do some running tomorrow.....have to stock up on kitty litter for my furbabies. Fleet Farm has my kitties' Tidy Cats litter on sale for the unbelievable price of $3.50 for a 20 pound bag. It is usually between $4.50 to $5.39 per bag depending on where, so this is an amazing price.
Will take a number of trips, but I'll get a year's worth or so, probably about 60 bags. Over a half a ton of kitty litter.

Meow for now.

Sometimes, you just have to think outside of the box.
You don't really need to blow the whole building up to accomplish your objective.
Be creative.

I will break my self imposed absence to sympathise Mark. I too have lost many cats over the years. For a true cat person, it is a very sad time. Condolences.

Thank you, Chris.
And, I have to get something off of my chest now.
Since I first posted about Ty Ty's unexpected and shocking demise, I had expected much more outpouring of sympathy and empathy from my fellow Setizens.

I am saddened almost as much by his passing as by the lack of sympathy shown or more profoundly NOT shown by those on this project that I have done so much for.

Thanks NOT, fellow Setizens.

I know now what you think of me.

Meow.

There was an article on the NYTimes by a reporter who had lost his dog. He wrote that many had sympathized with him while none was sympathizing for the hundreds of children dying in Syria. I agree with him.

I suppose it is my problem./
So many friends I have turned back.
Like the hands on a clock.

I have an obsession with clocks, you see.
Just ordered one from La Crosse....
A 20" beauty. I love to see the second hand moving.
Reminds me that I am still alive. And seconds are passing every moment I am awake.

I have just now realized that this is not the Seti I once knew.
And through my own actions or inactions it has become what it is now.
A little clique of those who support each other.

And now I am on the outside of that clique.

I have many decisions ahead of me, the largest of all is whether to reamin where I am not appreciated nor wanted.
And after so many years, that is a daunting question indeed.

I came for the science, and that shall be the guiding light.
I stayed for the forums./ As I have no social life beyond Seti.

It was nice when folks accepted me for what I am.
Things went south when I started to have problems in life and I let them spill over here. But I thought that was acceptable. Others have.

My bad for overestimating the power of compassion.

Here it is......\
I also have hundreds of investments in things you would not understand.
The reason is I do not wish you to.
I am a man of quite often understatement.

I have many things you shall never possess.
Life has been good.

Mark is moving himself into solitary now.
There are reasons for that. Self protective.
Mine is a selfish world, and I shall protect it with all of my being.

You best now stand aside.

that is a sad spectacle.
but not one I have taken upon as my own.
I have cats to take care of.

And they are my only concern at this time.

Thousands of children dieing?
How about the cats? No concern there/

./

Why, exactly, do I make you a angry?\\

I am getting ready to sleep now, so you must explain.

I need to know, or I cannot ammend.
